Kimi sat down but the river side, she had some serious thinking to do. Where could she run away to? She was obviously not loved, or even welcome at her home, but she didn’t want to leave her few friends. But she knew if she continued her daily things such as school, some one would come after her and bring her home. Home? What was she thinking, that’s not a home, just a house. There was nothing left for her here. She had to travel to the next city.
Kimi looked into the water. It laughed at her.
Kimi : eh?
The river just bubbled up and laughed harder. Kimi began to cry. There was a large woosh of wind, and she moved towards the tree. She looked out from under the tree’s strong branches into the sky. She notived it was getting darker.
Kimi: damn, more trouble that I will be in.
She imagined what her parents would say when she arrived home. OH well. She heard a noise. It was raining. Kimi sat and leaned against the trunk of the tree. She took out her journal and began to write about her day. She heard a clanging noise.
Kimi: Who’s there?
She brought out her sword.
Kimi: I know how to use this… I’m not some silly girl… you better watch out, 3 championship titles you know…
Actually, it was two, but she was hoping to win the next one.
Shadow: Put it down Kimi… sheesh. Didn’t mean to scare you.
Kimi: Always sneaking up on me.. Im gonna have to hurt you Loki!!
Loki: You would never do that…
He hugged her from behind.
Loki: How is my favorite depressed girl?
Kimi: IM NOT DEPRESSED!!!
Loki: And that’s why you were thinking about running away?
Kimi: how did you….
Loki wiggled his eyebrows…
Kimi: You scare me….
Kimi started to walk off into the rain Loki grabbed her arm..
Loki: No wait.. What do you think of this for the ladies?
Kimi to self: he doesn’t even know how I feel…
Kimi: Hit me.
Loki pulled his guitar out from the other side of the tree where he had been hiding earlier. He began to strum away on a haunting song. Kimi couldn’t look into his eyes. She went around to the other side of the tree. The music stopped.
Loki: Argh… it isn’t good is it? So, is it.. should I improve the lyrics… the riffs, or do you think they will consider it a lame pick up line.. I SOOO don’t want to get slapped.
Kimi: I hate you.
Loki: …
Kimi: LEAVE ME ALONE!
Lokight then…
Loki pressed the button on his keychain and a shiney blue moped sped into view
Loki: Ta-Ta, love!
He sped off. It began to rain harder as Kimi sat down to cry. Soon she fell asleep.
Chapter 2:
*BEEP BEEP* Kimi’s MMM was beeping, it woke her up. She noticed it wasn’t raining anymore. She checked the time…
Kimi: SIX AM!!!!?!!?!! Fuck am I in trouble!!
Then she realized her plan to run away. She checked her MM. Akio was sending her a message, it said “are you ok?” She typed back “I’m doing great… why would you think otherwise silly?”
Akio: “as if! I know somethings up, the question is, are you going to tell me?”
Kimi: “how do you know these things….”
Akio: “just do… now spill”
Kimi: “I’m running away…”
Akio: “WHAT?!?”
Kimi: “yep… oh look got to go… talk to you later”
Kimi turned off her MMM. She heard a rustling by the bush near the lake. A tall man popped out. He was wearing a green jacket that went all the way down to his feet, it was surprisingly clean considering there was mud everywhere.
Man: You, Kimi, I have come to you by request of Folle, My name is Ryu.
Kimi: what the fuck do you want?
Ryu: You,
Kimi: AAAAHHH RAPIST GET AWAY FROM MEEEE
Ryu: NOT. What I meant!
Kimi: rapist….
Ryu: …
Kimi: rapist…
Ryu: Anyway, you have been summoned to the castle of Folle, His knights await you.
Kimi: raaaaapiissst….
Ryu: That’s getting old…
Kimi: your getting old, rapist.
Ryu: …
Kimi: So then rapist, tell me how to get to this land.
Ryu: I have already sent you a map on your MMM
Kimi: how did you get my sn??? RAPIST/STALKER!!!
Ryu: Your name was on the database
Kimi: oh….
Ryu: I suggest you hurry, Folle will not like it if you are late….
He turned into a dragon, blew a spit of flame at Kimi’s feet and *pop* disappeared.
Kimi: what a freak…
Kimi opened her MMM and turned it on to see the map. “one new message” . and yep, it was a map of the Kingdom of Folle. An arrow popped up. It said “you are here” but the arrow was pointing to the edge of the map, and she couldn’t see “here” a new message popped up from “RuyDragonZroK” what a lame sn she thought. “BTW KIMI, u must go 2 de bus station n buy a tiket 2 Garindugo” she typed back “chatspeak sucks” and turned off her MMM
Kimi: Fine… I’m going to the bus station….
Kimi went to the station to get a ticket. She went up to the man at the ticket counter.
Kimi: One way ticket to Garindugo please?
Ticket Guy: One way… you sure?
Kimi: *stare* Very.
Ticket Guy: Right, mmhm, ok.. lets see, that will be 59 Kibblins. Kimi began searching through her bag… She only had 47 Kibblins.
Kimi: damn it. I’m sorry, I cant go.
Ticket Guy: Well, scince I already printed it out… and your so cute… I will take it out of my tips… NEXT..
He passed her the ticket and an old fat lady stepped in front of her. She looked down at her ticket.
Kimi: freak….
Intercom Speaker: BaloonshikVille, Track 17, departing in five minutes, I repeat BaloonshikVille is departing in FIVE minutes, Garindugo, track 4, departing in ten minutes, that’s Garindugo in ten minutes.
Kimi walked towards track 4 and boarded the bus. She went to the very last room on the bus and shut the sliding door to it. She turned on her MMM to see where she should go to next. The sliding door opened. A girl about her age, thin, with long strangly back hair entered. She was dressed in purple pants and a black shirt.
Girl: Do you mind? All the other rooms were filled?
Kimi: *glare* Oh, no, that’s fine *smiles* I’m just busy though…. Ok… I’m not. Hi, I’m Kimi.
Girl: I’m Jalil.
Kimi: So where are you going?
Jalil: Um… to Gorindugo… to visit my grandmother.
Kimi: Cool. Im running away.
Jalil: From what?
Kimi: everything.
Jalil looked out the window. She took out her book and began to read. Kimi looked down at her now beeping MMM. *sigh*
Akio: “why did you get off?”
Kimi: “I had to go”
Akio: “no you didn’t!”
Kimi: “yes I did, some weird man came to tell me I had to go to the Kingdom of Folle”
Akio: “WTF?!? He could have killed you…”
Kimi: “no…. I should have killed me”
Akio: “shut up”
Kimi: “NYAHHHHHH”
Akio: “so where are you”
Kimi: “on a bus…”
Akio: “you coming to visit me?”
Kimi: “no you nitwit… im going to the Kingdom of Folle to talk to King Folle”
Akio: “holy fuck, you really are?”
Kimi: “um yea…”
Akio: “Don’t be so grumpy. I love you”
Kimi: “You don’t”
She turned off her MMM and started to cry until she remembered Jalil was in there. She looked at Jalil who was entirely to engrossed in her book, and her cheeks were red, Kimi thought “maybe she knows what happened” then Kimi noticed Jalil’s book was upsidedown. Great, just great, evil little evesdropper.
Jalil: Are you ok?
Kimi: (sarcasm) oh yea.. im great just great, sun cant be any shinier..
At that moment the sun outside came out from behind a cloud and burst through the window.
Kimi: Disgusting.
The bus came to a halt. But it wasn’t at a station yet.
Intercom Speaker: Garindugo Station 1.. we will be arriving at station 2 momentairily, I repeat, Garidugo Station ONE.
Chapter 3
Kimi got off the bus. She was the only one. She looked around. The station was a small platform with one ticket counter and one bench. She could see the dirt road from here. She pulled out her MMM to see the map. A message immediately popped up.
Akio: “whats wrong?”
Kimi: “im sorry.. was just angry, but I really cant talk now… on a mission.”
Akio: “ok. Just wanted to let you know.. I have to go to Garindugo castle too.. and I have no idea why…”
Kimi: “holy fuck that’s strange”
Akio: “I am leaving right now.. maybe I will see you.. lots of love.”
He disappeared. Kimi proceeded to check her other messages. One was from Loki. It was complaining about his girlfriend. *sigh* Kimi realized how much she really didn’t like him. She checked her map. Now she could see herself on the map. She had to go into the forest.
Kimi: woo hoo.. forest time.
Kimi walked into the forest. A monkey jumped on her back.
Kimi: Hello there little fellow… GET OFF OF ME
The monkey looked at her with sad eyes. She petted it.
Kimi: WEEEEE PET MONKEY IM GONNA CALL YOU… SHISHI!!!
And with that Kimi was off.
Chapter 4
Finally Kimi came to the town center of Gorindugo, extremely different from the bus station, it was high-tech and buzzing with action. She looked in the tourist’s guide for the cheapest hotel then she realized.. she had no money. DAMN. She looked into a shop window that was selling TVs. They were showing pictures of pirates. Hmm
Pirates…
Kimi walked into the TV shop. She leaned against the counter…
Kimi: hiiiiiiii
Old man: What can I do for you missy?
Kimi: My grandma is stuck outside… can you help her.. you see.. she’s fallen. And.. she cant get up.
The man hurried outside. ShiShi banged on the cash register, and took out money. Kimi left a not that said “promise to pay you back.”
Kimi walked to the cheapest hotel. It was called “wundamunda” She got the cheapest room. She would have to prolly be staying with some random person. She sat on one of the beds and fell asleep. Suddenly she woke up. Her heart was beating extremely fast. She opened the door and saw a young man walking out. He was leaving the hotel. She had some connection to him, she could feel it, maybe she should follow him.
Owner of WundaMunda: Scuse meh miss.
Kimi: DAMN YOU YOU INTERRUPTED MY THOUGHTS!!!
Owner: right… well, just to let you know, you get the room to yourself tonight, your companion will be sleeping there tomorrow…
Kimi: right..
She grabbed her bag and left. She needed Grub and she was hoping she could find that mysterious person.
Jalil: KIMI!!! Guess what Kimi guess what?
Kimi: oh ello… um.. what?
Jalil: I know you like to sword fight
Kimi: How do you know that?
Jalil: I saw your sword, duh! Like, Anywho, there is this Competition going on.
Kimi didn’t really like competitions that much unless it meant there was a cool prize. She only wanted to fight if she had to.
Kimi: Thanks but no thanks.
Jalil: Good, cause I wanna go eat with you. I know this cute little place in Americatown that has burgers and fries. Have you ever had a burger? They are delicious!!
So Kimi and Jalil went to try burgers. WOoOt.
Kimi was just about to sit down when suddenly she had that feeling again. He was nearby. She was about to turn around when she felt a blade on her shoulder.
Voice: Deul?
For some reason Kimi smiled.
Kimi: Why of course…
She grabbed her sword and spun around. *clank* woo… the two swords clashed. Not once did she look up. Engaged in a fight meant she got to forget everything. Become enveloped in what she was doing. The world stopped for her fight. She didn’t feel anything. Completely Numb. This was her reason. All she thought about was the fight. It continued on.. Damn they’re good she thought. She looked up at her opponent. Their eyes locked. She dropped her sword and fainted.
